Schedule: Monday-Friday, onsite hours 7:30am-4:00pm.

About Farmscape:

Farmscape designs, installs, and maintains food-focused landscapes that are beautiful, productive, and made for outdoor living across Los Angeles & the Bay Area.
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Care for landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces at homes and businesses
• Perform regular landscaping work, including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, mulching, and cleanup
• Help care for vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and other plants
• Check plants and irrigation for common problems and let the team lead know when something needs attention
• Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Work with the crew to complete daily jobs and provide great service to our clients
• Drive between job sites and help with other landscaping and gardening tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of landscaping, gardening, groundskeeping, farming, or similar experience.
• Basic experience with plants, pruning, planting, watering, and landscape maintenance.
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work well with a crew and communicate clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Physical Demands: 

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable doing physical work throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions.

If the background check identifies a conviction that may be directly related to the duties of this position, Farmscape will:

• Provide a written individualized assessment and a copy of the background report.
• Give you at least five (5) business days to respond with relevant information or documentation.
• Issue a final notice of adverse action if a decision to withdraw the offer is maintained.

We review each case individually, considering the nature of the offense, time elapsed, relevance to job duties, and evidence of rehabilitation. Arrests that did not result in conviction, participation in diversion programs, expunged/sealed convictions, and cannabis-related convictions will not be considered.
